In this art exhibition in KEEK Utrecht, Lee Teng Poh revisits some of his childhood memories. With drawings in ink, he reflects on the places he hung out and the games that brought him joy; The chaos of a fast paced Mahjong game, or the start-up sound of a Playstation 1 console. They evoke a wave of nostalgia to growing up in the 90's. The work explores how games and free time help us to connect with ourselves and each other. Each drawing celebrates the joy of simple, carefree times spent alone or together.

This exhibition is available to visit from 04 April 2025 until 03 July 2025.

In de expositie Fun & Games in KEEK Utrecht duikt Lee Teng Poh in zijn jeugdherinneringen. Met inkttekeningen kijkt hij terug op de plekken waar hij vaak was en de spellen die hem blij maakten. De chaos van een snelle Mahjong-spel of het herkenbare opstartgeluid van een Playstation 1 roept voor hem een gevoel van nostalgie op naar de jaren '90. Zijn werk laat zien hoe spellen en vrije tijd ons helpen om in contact te komen met onszelf en met elkaar. Elke tekening viert het plezier van simpele, zorgeloze momenten, of je die nu alleen of samen doorbrengt.

De expositie is te bezoeken van 4 april 2025 t/m 3 juli 2025.
